It’s time for NFL Prop Bets and this week we head to Buffalo, New York where the Buffalo Bills will host the red hot Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota has won six games in a row, while the Bills had their winning streak snapped last week with a loss to the Jets. With our prop bets for this game, we decided to focus on the Minnesota offense as everything with the Bills offensive side of the ball is up in the air with the injury to Josh Allen.

Our first prop bet is Kirk Cousins Over/Under 260.5 passing yards for the game. Now, regardless of Josh Allens availability for this game, the Vikings offense will be facing maybe the best defense in the NFL. The Bills are giving up 319 yard of offense per game, which is one of the best in the league. Cousins found a new favorite target last week when T.J. Hockenson caught 9 passes in his first game since being traded from Detroit. With Hockenson now in the fold and Jefferson, Thielen, and Cook out of the backfield, Cousins has no shortage of targets against any defense. We think the Vikings surprise the Bills with their passing attack and Cousins goes over 260.5 passing yards.

Tip Reasoning

Key Stat: Buffalo is only giving up 104 rushing yards per game

  • Cook has 608 rushing yards this season
  • The Vikings are averaging 102 rushing yards per game
  • Buffalo allows 319 yards of offense per game

Our second prop bet for the Vikings-Bills game will look at the Minnesota rushing attack and Dalvin Cook. The Bills are stout up front against the run, so not many teams have had success running the ball against them. The next prop bet is Cook Over/Under 73.5 rushing yards. While Minnesota has been playing as well as any team the first two months of the season, their usually strong running attack hasn’t been as reliable this year. Cook has stayed healthy this year, but the offensive line hasn’t been as strong in the run-blocking game. We think Minnesota has to go through the air to win this game, so we’ll take Cook Under 73.5 rushing yards.
