This Sunday, the Washington Nationals square off with the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. The Nationals’ offense has been underperforming, contributing to their loss in 10 of the last 12 games. Lane Thomas, Joey Meneses, and Luis Garcia have been carrying the Nationals’ offense. MacKenzie Gore will start for the Nationals, holding a 3-6 record with a 4.02 ERA and 95 Ks.

The Padres have been more successful offensively, thanks to Juan Soto, Xander Bogaerts, and Fernando Tatis Jr. Seth Lugo will start for the Padres. Despite the Padres being favorites, their inconsistent performance and lack of significant advantage in starting pitching make me favor the Nationals.

San Francisco Giants vs Arizona Diamondbacks – SF Giants Win (-152)

The San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks wrap up their three-game series at Oracle Park this Sunday. After an 8-5 loss in the opener, the Diamondbacks lost again 7-6 on Saturday. Ryne Nelson will start for the Diamondbacks, while Anthony DeSclafani will take the mound for the Giants.

Despite Nelson’s decent performances, the Diamondbacks’ overall struggle in away games and against right-handed starters makes me lean towards the Giants, especially considering DeSclafani’s steady performance this season.

Chicago White Sox vs Boston Red Sox – BOS Red Sox Win (-138)

In Sunday’s MLB action, the Boston Red Sox meet the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. The Red Sox, driven by Alex Verdugo, Masataka Yoshida, and Justin Turner, have performed well offensively, winning most games when scoring four or more runs. Kutter Crawford will start for the Red Sox.

The White Sox have been struggling to find a rhythm, despite notable contributions from Andrew Benintendi, Luis Robert Jr., and Andrew Vaughn. The White Sox’s starting pitcher remains unknown. Considering the Red Sox’s current form and Crawford’s impressive innings, I predict a win for the Boston Red Sox.
