A spread parlay is what?
A spread parlay bet combines many straight spread bet wagers on a single sports wagering ticket. You may utilize a variety of markets in a parlay bet, but using merely spread selection in parlays has gained a lot of popularity because it’s one of the most typical ways to gamble on most sports, including NBA, NFL, and others.
How Do Spread Parlays Work?
A spread parlay bet works in the exactly the same way as any other parlay bet that is made of mixed selections.
Your entire sports spread parlay bet loses if even one wager in it is a loss. This is simply the way parlay bets operate. You don’t have to stick with the same sport either: you can, for instance, make spread parlay bets with selection from the NFL and the NBA. The concept, however, is always the same: in order to win a spread parlay bet, you would need all the singular spread selections in the parlay to win.
What if there is a push bet in your spread parlay bet?
When your spread wager meets the precise value established by oddsmakers, it is known as a “PUSH.” Let’s imagine that you are backing a team to cover -5 points in a matchup. If the final outcome sees the team winning by exactly 5 points, it will be a PUSH.
In this case, your spread parlay bet would no longer include this wager because it didn’t happen. For a payoff on your parlay card, the other bets would still have to be successful. It’s comforting to know that sportsbooks will remove the PUSH from your bet, though.
