In what goes down as one of the oddest weeks for an NFL team in the history of the league, the Buffalo Bills are trying to piece together some semblance of normalcy. Last Sunday the Bills fumbled (literally and figuratively) away one of the wildest games you’ll ever see when they lost to the Minnesota Vikings. Now Buffalo moves on to the next week and a home game against Cleveland. No problem right? Well due to mother nature’s forecast to drop around 5 FEET of snow on Buffalo this weekend, the game between the Browns and Bills has been moved to Detroit on Sunday.

How will this affect the game? This could actually help Buffalo out, even though they won’t be playing their normal home game. The Cleveland Browns like to run the ball and keep games low scoring, which would definitely be the case in Buffalo this week. However, due to the game being moved indoors, Josh Allen and this Bills offense can get right in perfect conditions and attack Cleveland with their still potent passing game.

Buffalo is a heavy favorite in this game, even with it being moved to Detroit. We tend to agree, as we think this is a get-right game for the ultra-talented Bills team. We will take Buffalo to win and cover the -7.5 point spread.

Tip Reasoning

Key Stat: Buffalo averages 27 points per game

  • The Bills average 304 passing yards per game
  • Cleveland gives up 26 points per game on defense
  • The Browns give up almost 400 yards per game on defense

It’s been a crazy week trying to figure out this Browns-Bills game. But now that the game has been moved indoors to Detroit, the Over/Under lines have been reset and are coming in fairly high at 49.5 points. This isn’t surprising considering how lethal this Bills offense can be and the quick nature in which they can score. It also helps when the opposing defense is struggling to contain any offense, much less one as talented as the Bills. Cleveland hasn’t stopped anybody all year, and now that there is perfect “weather conditions” indoors in Detroit, they can’t rely on the weather to assist stopping Buffalo. We think the Bills hover around 40 points for this game, so we’ll take Over 49.5 points.
