Washington Commanders vs Baltimore Ravens Predictions
Key Stat: Washington Commanders were defeated in both preseason games so far
- Commanders are allowing way too many points so far in the preseason
- Baltimore Ravens left great impression in duels versus Cardinals and Titans
- Ravens won the last five h2h games against Commanders
NFL Preseason action resumes on Saturday afternoon with plenty of interesting matches. One of those is taking place at M&T Bank Stadium where Baltimore Ravens welcome Washington Commanders. Hosts are entering the duel with high confidence after defeating Arizona Cardinals last weekend by seven points. Duel is going to be streamed at NFL.tv so make sure to check it out.
As expected, Baltimore is carrying the role of favorites judging by the US betting sites. They are ahead by six and a half points at the moment of writing this preview. Preseason debut for the Ravens was against Tennessee Titans and they scored points in every quarter for total of 23-10 result. Tyler Huntley had very high completion rate in that encounter, completing 14 out of 16 passes. Something similar happened last weekend against the Cardinals.
Over to the visitors, Commanders were not so successful, losing the last week’s appearance to the Chiefs. Team also got defeated in first duel to Carolina so we see no other option but to back Baltimore in spread here.
Key Stat: The given line is too high in our opinion, even for a preseason match
- The current line for total points is 39.5
- We don’t see visitors performing well offensively, not against Baltimore’s back line
- We are leaning towards the Under selection
As for the secondary selection, the current line for points is 39.5 and we are sticking to the Under option. Hosts have allowed only 27 points in the first two games against tougher opponents, so we don’t see Washington scoring a lot in Maryland. They scored just three points in the last head to head clash against the Ravens last year.
