Womens US Open Winner Outright Tips

Key Stat: Iga Swiatek is the World No 1 and the top seed at Flushing Meadows

Tip Reasoning

  • Swiatek has won Indian Wells, Miami, and Roland Garros this year
  • If there is a favorite in any event  in women’s tennis, it has to be Iga
  • She has not been at her very best in the last couple of months but even in this form she is by far the main contender here

We have not witnessed as dominant player as Iga Swiatek in women’s tennis for quite some time. The Polish star has conquered the WTA Tour by a storm ever since Ashleigh Barty withdrew from tennis. Swiatek has played the semifinal of Australian Open and then went on to win successive titles in Indian Wells, Miami, and French Open. It was not just about her wins and titles but more about the way she has managed to get them. When you watch Iga play at her best, you get an impression that nobody can beat her.

That said, it is worth mentioning that Swiatek has not quite been at her very best of late. She was stopped in the Warsaw quarterfinal and in the last 16 rounds of both Toronto and Cincinnati. However, we do believe that Iga can still find the form she had in the spring. If there can be a favorite in women’s tennis right now, it has to be Iga. You can back the young Pole to win the title here at the odds of +400.

Tip Reasoning

Key Stat: Caroline Garcia won two titles in the last 30 days

  • Garcia has been spectacular two weeks ago in Cincinnati
  • She has beaten Swiatek on the way to the title in Warsaw a month ago
  • She has defeated some high-profile players en route to the Cincinnati title as well

If we are to pick the US Open favorite exclusively based on form, it would have to be Caroline Garcia. The 28-year-old French girl has won two titles in the last 30 days. She has been fantastic two weeks ago in Cincinnati, winning seven matches en route to her third title of the year. Garcia defeated the likes of Martic, Sakkari, Mertens, Pegula, Sabalenka, and Kvitova in her last five matches in Cincinnati. She has never passed the third round at the US Open but with this form, she has to be considered a genuine candidate for the throne in the Big Apple. Garcia is +1700 to go all the way in New York City.
