About this Role
The Web Content Writer will create engaging and detailed betting picks content for BettingPicks4you.com. Content will be game previous, parlay bets, props tipping, futures and so on. Writers can choose between the major US pro sports and collegiate sports depending on their passion, knowledge and interest. Content will then be assigned daily by our content chief editor. All the picks have to be fully researched and backed up with some stats and rationale that will explain why certain selections have been suggested in the preview. All content has to be completely unique.
- Responsibilities
- BSpin Limited seeks a subject-matter expert in two specific U.S. sports: MLB and the NHL or NFL or NBA or Collegiate Sports
- Create high-quality blog content on various topics according to a pre-agreed content schedule
- Adept at getting quality blog content out rapidly
- Writing to the BSpin Limited tone of voice and adhering to internal style guide
- Must be proficient in WordPress editing
- Strict attention to details when writing to minimize copyediting time
- Maintain a commercial spirit when planning and creating blog content to ensure our content efforts contribute to business goals and drive conversions
- Look for potential partnership and collaboration opportunities with other publishers
- Continue looking for ways to drive backlinks to BSpin Limited from guest content opportunities
- Ability to publish autonomously in WordPress and willing to learn and utilize deeper features
- Strong Twitter following a plus
- SEO experience a plus
- Sports wagering knowledge and/or willingness to learn a must
Education
- College graduate or equivalent writing experience
- Qualifications
- Experience writing high-quality sports blog content
- Experience running sports websites
- Journalism, English, or another relevant field
- Extensive knowledge of all sports
- Experience working in sports publishing
- Great social media experience
